01Purpose & Commitment
PlayDen is an esports tournament and community platform serving players across India. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful environment free from child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards establish our zero-tolerance approach to any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors.
PlayDen does not permit, facilitate, or host any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, trafficking, or exploitation. We actively work to detect and remove such content and to cooperate with law enforcement wherever required.
02Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on PlayDen and will result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that depicts or simulates the sexual exploitation of minors.
- Grooming minors — using the platform to build trust with a child for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Soliciting, coercing, or enticing a minor to produce or share sexually explicit content.
- Attempting to establish contact with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, whether on-platform or by directing them to other channels.
- Sharing personal information about a minor (e.g. location, school, home address) without legitimate purpose and parental consent.
- Facilitating or promoting child trafficking or any form of child labor exploitation.
- Using the platform to recruit, harbor, transport, or otherwise facilitate the trafficking of minors.
03Child Safety Reporting
If you encounter any content or behavior that you believe endangers a child or violates these standards, report it immediately using one of the following methods:
- In-app reporting: Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on any post, profile, or message and select Report. Choose the "Child Safety" category and provide as much detail as possible.
- Email: Send a detailed report to [email protected]. Include the username or profile link, a description of the content or behavior, and any screenshots if available.
All child safety reports are treated with the highest priority. We review every report and do not share your identity with the reported account. You will receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours and a resolution update within 72 hours wherever practicable.
04Review & Enforcement
Upon receiving a child safety report, our Trust & Safety team will:
- Immediately restrict the reported account's ability to interact with other users while the review is in progress.
- Review the reported content and any associated activity on the account.
- Permanently ban and delete the account if the violation is confirmed, without warning.
- Preserve relevant evidence and cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies upon request.
- Report confirmed CSAM to the relevant national and international authorities (see Section 5 below).
There are no warnings or second chances for confirmed CSAE violations. These actions are irreversible.
05Handling CSAM
If child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is detected on PlayDen — whether through a user report, automated detection, or any other means — we will:
- Immediately remove the content and suspend the account responsible.
- Preserve a copy of the evidence in a secure, access-controlled environment for the purpose of law enforcement cooperation.
- Report the content and associated account details to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required under applicable law.
- Notify and cooperate with Indian law enforcement agencies, including the Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) and state cybercrime cells, as required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
We do not review or access CSAM beyond what is strictly necessary to fulfill these legal obligations.
06Compliance With Child Safety Laws
PlayDen complies with all applicable Indian and international child protection laws, including but not limited to:
- The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 — India's primary legislation on child sexual abuse and exploitation.
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments, including obligations on intermediaries to report CSAM and cooperate with law enforcement.
- The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 — intermediary due diligence and grievance redressal obligations.
- The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) — international baseline for child rights that informs our policies.
Where our own standards are stricter than applicable law, our standards prevail.
07Child Safety Across the PlayDen Community
Beyond enforcement, PlayDen takes the following proactive steps to promote child safety on the platform:
- Age verification: Account registration requires a valid phone number linked to an Indian mobile carrier. Players under 18 are encouraged to use PlayDen with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
- Private messaging controls: Users can restrict who can send them direct messages. We encourage younger users to set their account to receive messages only from teammates or mutual followers.
- Community guidelines education: Our Community Guidelines explicitly prohibit harassment, sexual content directed at minors, and any form of exploitation.
- Trusted reporter program: Verified organizers and moderators can escalate child safety concerns directly to our Trust & Safety team with priority handling.
- Regular policy review: These standards are reviewed at least annually or whenever relevant laws change, and updated accordingly.
08Designated Child Safety Point of Contact
PlayDen designates a Child Safety Officer responsible for overseeing the implementation of these standards, managing child safety reports, and liaising with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.

09Updates to These Standards
PlayDen will update these Child Safety Standards whenever there are material changes to our practices, relevant law, or platform features that affect child safety. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We may notify users of significant changes through in-app announcements or email.
